Frequently Asked Questions

Unsure how WP Backend works, or have you got a simple question that may have been asked before?

General FAQ's

WP Panel is a WordPress Plugin that completely transforms the WordPress dashboard for users. WP Panel is predominantly aimed at WordPress Agencies and Developers, due to its ability to white-label and brand WordPress. However, it can be used on any WordPress website and can be particular useful for websites with multiple users.

WP Panel brings together functionality that WordPress Agencies and Developers use on most WordPress websites in one simple and easy to use plugin. Unlike any other plugin, it also completely transforms the WordPress dashboard, installing by default a WP Panel dashboard in its place.

WP Panel can benefit you in two ways.

If you are a WordPress Agency or Developer, WP Panel will white-label the WordPress dashboard in your branding, and create a far better user experience for your clients, with some cool functionality.

If you are a WordPress user (or you run an organisation with multiple users), WP Panel will provide you and your colleagues with a far better user experience, video tutorials on how to use WordPress and its many features, a list of all your contact form requests, and a cool dashboard displaying your Google Analytics (your web stats).

WP Panel uses Stripe for payments, and we accept debit and credit cards.

All WP Panel licences last for 1 year. You will receive support and updates for as long as your licence is valid.

If you stop payments your licence will remain valid however you will stop receiving updates and support.

WordPress releases updates regularly, and although we cannot see how it might stop WP Panel from working, it is not beyond the possibility.

After each new release, our team of developers and testers will fully test the new WordPress release with WP Panel, ensuring that it works.

We committed to providing a patch for anyone using WP Panel. If you have a support query, please view our support and documentation page.

Yes. When purchasing WP Panel, an automatic payment schedule is set up to process an annual payment.

This is to ensure that you retain full access to WP Panel and its functionality.

You can chose to disable the auto-renewal, however you will then need to manually renew your licence to ensure you receive updates and support.

When your WP Panel licence expires, the key functionality making WP Panel so great will continue to work across all websites. You will unfortunately lose access to any updates and support.

We will however reach out to encourage you to renew if it does expire.

Your licence should upgrade automatically. However if you have stopped the automatic payments then you can visit “your account” and click “upgrade”.

Our developers have tried VERY hard to ensure that WP Panel works on all websites, however as with any WordPress plugin, there can be compatibility issues.

If WP Panel is not working on your website, we suggest you deactivate each plugin one by one to see which is causing the conflict. We recommend the website is backed up before making any changes.

If you are struggling to find the issue, send us a support request at support@wp-panel.co.uk and we will look into providing a patch. (Although no guarantees can be made).
